Species of Man is how long? How many species on this planet at this time? This "big bang" is how long? We live in one Galaxy. How many stars in this Galaxy? How many Galaxy's are in this Universe? Given species that can only live on this type planet alone and not under other conditions, you think Earth has the sole monopoly on all species past, present and future? Think outside the box has a new meaning here. To say think of all the possibilities, is impossible for man to fathom (yes, I'm included). Like asking a kindergardner to explain the difference in Time, Distance, Matter (if any, lol). Yes I believe in extraterrestials, but they are NOT in Area 51.
