If you go back a ways--a month or two--there was a post which led to an article about a guy who went deep into Area 51. He was not after airplanes but rather trying to trace some historical artifacts from the 1800's. It was pretty interesting reading. His problem wasn't so much the guards as running out of water and food, just like the old pioneers.
