New River is 90 minutes away from me

I'm near where the faulty V-22 had to land for repairs
at the civilian airport {ILM} not too long ago.
Got pics, but in beta format.

It's nice to see positive things have changed
in DC. The most common complait "way back when"
was that everything was so scattered..

Bolling has changed too. When I was there, you could
drive across the inactives, pass Marine 1's hanger, go
out the back gate, and down the street to work. That was
before all the base housing was built, and the large
building that shall remain nameless.

The only tall building there was Blanchard,
which was new.

When I was there, we could look down the
street, and see the Glomar Explorer docked
at the Yard..

Plain sight, big as houses..
