This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Therefore, this synopsis shall serve as a request for quotation; numbered F5346A32310100, which seeks proposals based on information contained in the synopsis. This synopsis and incorporated provisions/clauses are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 423430 (100 employees). It is the government?s intent to award under the authority of FAR 6.302 to Systemware Inc., 325 East Hillcrest Drive, Suite #100, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360. The Government wishes to acquire the following items on an all or none basis. Substitutions will not be allowed. The Government intends to acquire the following items: Dell Latitude D800 MMX specially configured for the following hardware and software, 1 ea; GPIB Control board, usb, 1 ea; PDA 12A, 125N Sample/Sec, 12 Bit Digital O?Scope Board, 1 ea, PCI to PCMCIA External Box, 2 slots, 1 ea; ScenarioFlex Plus Base, 1 ea; ScenarioFlex Add-on Module: Standard Analysis Library, 1 ea; ScenarilFlex Add-on Module: Enhanced Analysis Library, 1 ea; ScenarioFlex Add-on Module: Rater Library, 1 ea; ScenarioFlex Add-on Module: Signal Reports Library, 1ea. Should offers be received from other than SystemsWare Inc., the Government will consider all prices during the evaluation with the award to be made to the lowest total evaluated price to the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice on intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received prior to date of closure will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This acquisition will be processed using the simplified acquisition procedures. The following Provisions/Clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders-Commercial Items. Offeror shall include a complete copy of the provisions of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror's Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their offer. DFAR 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration applies. Awards cannot be made to contractors who are not registered in the Central Contractor Registration at time of award.
