Well, they flew a few cool planes. Where else would you see Paul Revere or an E-8. What happened is probably something those on the outside won't know until the procedure becomes part of a flag. The last flag used Link-16, and I believe it had less chatter than a typical flag. The August flag is multi-nation, while the October flag is US only. It will be interesting to compare the amount of chatter since I believe the nulti-nation exercise won't have the data link.
