I bought a Radio Shack Pro-2052 with Mil airbands. Continuous band 25-1380. Going to get a booster antenna that boosts from 25 to 512. Radio shack didn't have a handheld that covered 225 to 400 and I didn't want to have to get one shipped either via ebay or an online store so I went for the sure thing. The other idea is to lug up a small 12 volt motorcycle battery up there and rig up a cig lighter plug...
