N36.85229 W116.42883 is on the regular terraserver at 1m resolution. I don't recall what goes on here at the NTS. It certainly could be a tunnel opening. Note that the area has had some serious grading. There is an obvious grade at 36.8502276 116.4254803. Now it could have been built from the spoils of the tunnel, but you can see they scraped an area to the south. What makes me think this is a tunnel is the route leading to the opening, which has a significant shadow, i.e. they are starting to make a descent. Often a pond of water looks like a hole on the terraserver, but the sun angle of this photograph doesn't make me think that is the case.

Now N37.634 W116.173 doesn't have usgs terraserver coverage. However, I know there are targets within 8 miles of that location, so I suspect that runway may be another target. I monitored an exercise in this area. There are targets at N37.51420 W116.17713 and N37.61927 W116.32837. Again, this area can be see from the border. However, did this point come from the "pay" terraserver? If so, then the location can be subject to debate.
