The 6510th was consolidated with another squadron (can't recall who, maybe the 412th tac fighter group) and was eventually redesignated the 412th test wing 1992ish, with the 6516th eventually becoming the 416th Flight Test Squadron. Somewhere around the early 90s as well. The 416th is our sister squadron. They do the fast movers and we have the trash haulers.
