Would they try to cover it up if a Chinese plane crashed in the US? But if it was part of a secret military project on the other hand they would remove the evidence. In my opinion, the bigist hole in the whole ETs on earth idea is two unanswered questions: WHY would the government want to cover it up? and How could it be covered up so well for so long when so many people of all differnt backgrounds over the course of several generations would have know about it. (a lot of people would have to be involved to reverse engineer technology)
