Mere observation of "unidentified flying objects" is not evidence of extraterrerstrial visitation. that is why thery are classified as "unidentified."

Researchers Korff and Pflock (both UFO believers!) effectively debunked the so-called "witnesses" cited with regard to Roswell. They were simply not credible.

Philip Corso has no credibility whatsoever. In his book, he often couldn't get facts straight when they were freely available on the public record.

In 1947, the Roswell Incident was simply a matter of unidentified debris collected from Foster Ranch. It was subsequently identified as balloon and radar-reflector material.

There is substantial evidence that the Roswell Incident involved a MOGUL balloon train. See the books by Korff and Pflock, as well as the Air Force investigation report.

There is not one iota of solid evidence to sugest that it was anything more exotic than a balloon. No credible witness testimony. No official documentation. No physical evidence.

When an aerospace vehicle crashses, it leaves a substantial amount of debris. No one has ever found any exotic unidentifiable debris at any of the numerous alleged Roswell crash sites. Other than crash sites that have literally been paved over by urban development, I have never visited a crash site that failed to yield identifiable debris.

Finally, while this is a fascinating subject for discussion, it is rather off-topic for an Area 51 forum. The Roswell Incident itself predates the construction of the Groom Lake base and no credible source has claimed that extraterrestrial technology was ever tested on the Nevada Test and Training Range.
