If you don't trust your vehicle, the back gate requires less dirt road travel and is also closer to Rachel, i.e. non-military people who might give you a hand. [I wouldn't walk back to town from the back gate without 6 liters of water in my backpack.]

At the front gate, you might see the white bus. At the back gate, you see the Walmart trucks enter. ;-)
