I found where they talk about security and even found out they are here in the town I live in. They have a nice .pdf explaining all the security jobs, and even how much they pay. They have interesting stuff on their site if you get bored. They mention this little baby:

"Custom wireless sensors. EG&G developed, manufactured and installed this intrinsically safe wireless sensor package to monitor vibration, pressure and temperature of rotating machinery. The attached controller then digitizes and transmits the information in real time via a wireless LAN. Application software then automatically determines health and maintenance needs of the monitored equipment."

Don't you think this tech could be used to say, let them know when someone is coming up the road?
