YO-3A was a top secret aircraft that opeerated in Vietnam 70-71. This plane flew silently at 1,000 feet and used a Night Vision Aerial Periscope with infared. Some had laser designator. This plane took the night away from Charlie. Unfortunately we haad politically lost the war and the program shut down toward the end of 71. The plane was tested in are near area 51. With running lights on the plane presents an oval cigar light pattern. I believe some of the UFO sightings during this period of time were of the YO-3A.
