Actually the hangar (H-19, Arm/De-Arm scoot-n-hide) was there before, connected to the older E-W taxiway. What they did is extend the ramp leading up to it to the new taxiway.

What is interesting is that it used to have a taxiway come out in the back, so whatever pulls in from the north can pull out south. The southern access seems to have been abandoned when the new taxiway was constructed. So, whatever pulls in now has to come out the same way it came in.
