I would say that the best well known version is the one in bill sweetmans book and is also the aurora in the ATF flight sim. Also was used on the cover page of
Popular science I believe. In the ATF Flight sim there is a free flight option, in other words U can goof around with any of the aircraft except the UAV's and the heli's. Also one can pause and PAN view from any angle of any aircraft that you choose to free fly nd of course you can do this with aurora.

While I goofed around with aurora in free flight mode. I took the throttle full forward and let her rip a hole in the sky. The top speed for the aurora was approx 3200 kias at 25,000 feet sea level.

Mach 1 = 625 Kias so that would put it at mach 5.12 of course these are just flight sim numbers, But then again the folks at janes do try to get it as realistic as possible. Anyway enough said.
