This post by "lone wolf" is for a viewing spot a bit south of Andies Mine, possibly near where the planes enter a gap to reach the ranges. There may be a better way to get to the general area, but I know you can get on Bald Mountain Rd at N37.52244 W115.58178, make a right at N37.49486 W115.68076 and then a left at N37.53496 W115.72277. The road starting at N37.55213 W115.62673 might be a more direct route.

By my observations from near Coyote Summit, the planes are entering the ranges at passes around N37.53140 W115.76482 and N37.55782 W115.76111.

To put things in perspective, the north side of the box that the planes need to avoid runs from N37.46667 W116.00083 to N37.46667 W115.58417, and the eastern side runs from N37.46667 W115.58417 to N37.10000 W115.58417. This explains why planes vector in the general direction of Coyote Summit from the Student Gap.
