Yes I knew at the time it was probably the chromate green covering prior to the RAM being repainted on the aircraft, but since this isnt seen very often, I thought I'd share the pics with everybody.

Photos were taken in Palmdale, right across the street from Plant 42, at Sierra Hwy and Avenue N, at a viewing area known as John's Corner, or BJ's Corner, named after a late, ex-Marine named John who for many many years spent hours at this corner watching the aircraft fly in and out of the installation.
