This is more of a question than a statement: Given the fact that Lockheed-Martin is working on a Supersonic Low Boom Business jet, aside from the QSP, could the aircraft in testing have been such a low boom prototype? I mean, partly because such a type would nominally cruise around 60,000ft. and given that it was a Lockheed Test number? In fact, I keep thinking that one picture at this site which is real grainy is supposed to be an older LM low boom prototype, isn't it? Would the USAF allow them to test such a prototype out of Groom, not so much out of national security, but to protect industrial secrets from competitors such as Gulfstream?

Also, at least in MSFS 2004, there is a military boundary in central to eastern NM, I think it's in the White Sands area, that runs up to 100,000 ft. I don't have an actual sectional for that area so I don't know how accurate it is.
