Note there is a real S-4 just south of the Tonopah Test Range. It is full of old soviet era radar, plus bunkers of unknown use. I've spotted 96N6E, 64N6E, and older fansong radar, plus many I never identified. With a bit of work, you can park at N37.88895 W116.54306 to view the area and the TTR at the same time. The road is not on any map, but starts at N37.89665 W116.53266. You can use Tom Mahood's Brainwash Butte directions to get to the starting point. An alternate viewspot is at N37.88515 W116.53340, but you can't drive to that spot, though the hike is trivial. [The advantage to the other spot is car camping, since the action is generally at night.]

The real S-4 tends to have really hazy weather and the radar units are quite small, so you may need a few trips to get good photos.
