Once again, the honorable Democrats are slandered! ;-) Ralph Regula is a Republican from Ohio's 16th district. May I mention he it totally corrupt, pro-pollution, bought and paid for by the steel industry. Ooops, I just did. Also sponsoring the bill is Zack Wamp (R-Tennesee), Mark Souder (R-Indiana), Tom Petri [R-Wisconsin], John Peterson (R-Pennsylvania) and David Hobson [R-Ohio]. Let's just say the bill doesn't have bi-partisan support, though it is popular with east coast Republicans in states with no federal land. [Doh!]

This bill has been protested quite a bit by people who vote (aka senior citizens). I don't think it stands a prayer of passing in its present form. However, it doesn't hurt to protest it some more if live in a district with a knuckle dragging conservative as a representative.
