Does the USAF or DOD really need a _reason_ to keep something classified ;-)? Anyway, I guess that stealth technology alone is enough to keep the program under wraps.

As for commercial value ... I don't know, but I would expect that the manufacturer's marketing rights for his product are severly restricted, if the product was developed under a classified DOD program.
