Bald Mountain is entirely inside the restricted area, even its' base. The view of Area 51 would more closely resemble the view from White Sides mountain in distance and angle, except the viewing angle would be further yet to the west, giving almost a north-south angle. I'm told that a few of the northern buildings (Red Hat hangar area) are hidden from view by the mountain ridges that extend toward the base. Next time I get a chance to fly directly over Rachel, I'll try to get enough elevation (probably 13,000 to 14,000 feet) to shoot a photo that portrays to view from Bald Mountain exactly.
