The panorama photos in the Area 51 Info & Photos section, taken on March 27th, 1995 from Freedom Ridge, show water on the lakebed in the first three photos. This was the last time I can recall seeing any large amount of water on the lakebed. We have been in a drought for the last five years now, and water usually only stands briefly on the lakebed in the early spring after winter rains and snows. Tikaboo Peak is usually shrouded in snow at this time of the year and is not safely accessible for photography.
