Maybe Chuck can comment, but fast moving planes in the location you mention are often the weapons school doing night training. But if they are slow moving, then it could be choppers or UAVs. You can see planes take this route if you park on the gravel in the evening. That is the Bald to Tik to Irish and back route.

I looked around the net but couldn't find a F117a with the lights on from a bottom view, but I know the photo is out there. I can see how it would look like a flying glowing triangle from the distance. Then again, you may have seen the supersized F-117a that Joerg has seen.

Regarding the F22, I bet they will have one on display at Edwards. Nothing like getting the information from the horses mouth.
