If they can't do it already with the J-STARS, they'll probably find some way of integrating the take from a GH based recon platform into the JTIDS network. It can then be 'lumped together' with smaller Predator style UAVs imaging, and AWACS, bomber, and fighter radar imaging, to create the ultimate big picture for a battlefield commander, as well as other elements of a US led force.

Pity any advancing ground force against something like that in 10 years time - It'll very quickly become a retreating ground force!

Actually, a very similar scenaro occurs at the end of the Tom Clancy book ('The Bear and the Dragon') which I mentioned here a few weeks ago. Clancy goes into great detail in describing how some 'Darkstar' UAVs influence a large ground battle. The Darkstar (Tier II minus), although stealthier, has now been canned in favor of the GH for cost reasons, and because the GH is larger and has a bigger payload.

BTW - thanks to those of you who have been trying to email me lately for your patience. I am now back on line and have a new email address.
