Noone is behind anyone, and it wasn't picked up because of a slow news day! It was picked up because, as some of the articles say, DARPA posted a request for submissions from the contractors on its website late last week. So, instead of just being an internal concept at DARPA and few 'out there' concepts dating back to 1945, it has now become mainstream. Magoo
