the hypersonic bomber is not new it was discussed about a year or two ago in popular science and im sure there is topic on this site boy took the BBC quite a while to catch with up us! he he :)
I guess maybe this means they're (US) is really considering this option of hypersonic weapon's delivery platform.

By the way for all of you!, US discovered! non disclosed, advanced WW-II german aircraft! sport's fans! out there! I found this german hypersonic design hypersonic bombers, are not new too aviation anyway!.
