Nothing mysterious. I just noticed the area was there and on a url Joerge posted, I noticed BLM employees and citizen who belonged to a certain group had access. I figured maybe it was open or semiopen to the public because it's part of the TTR, not the NTS, I figured I might take advantage of it later this year. The wildlife management area is supposed to be sensitive territory for military overflights and they have minimum altitude restrictions. I think I'll write to the BLM though and see exactly what the rules for entry are. If I can go in, then I'm going!
