The Sept 11th attacks created a wave of mass paranoia in the US and probably other places too. The people will now give up civil liberties for a false sense of security. Yes... Osama succeded in what he set out to do. Personally.. he hasen't won over me, I am not paranoid and I haven't gone out to buy duct tape and plastic wrap. If anyone has seen the movie "The Running Man" it takes place in the future, and the conditions are very different in the US, you have the middle class being attacked, you have security ID cards, the government gives out rewards for people who spy on there neigboors to see what they are doing wrong. You have heavily armed security officals on the streets. The 9-11 attacks were not just an attack on America.. it was an attack on all countries who love free government.
