Thanks for the post, Gary. Would you mind if I add it to our trip reports section? The new structures in R61 are probably mock practice targets. Wouldn't surprise me if they resembled some high-profile targets in Iraq... ;-) Could the red light near the front gate be the light on top of the antenna pole near the guard shack (see attached link)? It sounds like the angle could be about right... Concerning the trash on Tikaboo, I would encourage anyone who goes up there to pack down as much extra trash as they can, and certainly not leave any of their own behind.
