Isn't an element of stealth being invisible from all types of sensors. It seems to me the sudden heating of the air would be detectable. The temperature effect on the speed of sound is proportional to the square root of temperature in kelvin. Beyond that, somebody would have to do some analysis to prove this scheme works since the patent is a bit light on the proof of theory.
