Sorry no links to photos. The 1900 is mostly used in the commuter airline service, but are also used as corp shuttles. King Air types would be better for the suits. For clarity, I never said any civilian aircraft regularly use Groom. The contractors based there all have corporate aircraft from Gulfstream V's to Cessna Caravans. For a project head to commute from A to B it is most always in one of these types. In the late 80's I had a conversation with a Lear corp pilot flying for a large eastern USA eloctronic company. He said he was "familiar with that area". Maybe I am making an assumption about civilian a/c at Groom. I certianly dont want to come across as someone who knows when I know I cant prove it. This is an interesting topic. I would like to know if anyone can confirm this.
