Chris, probably many contries supplied Iraq weapons, including us. The US is as dirty as the Russians- Our diplomatic relationship with Saddam during the Reagan years makes for some interesting reading....and Rumsfeld was in the thick of things- at the time Iran was our enemy, and Saddam was at war with Iran. He was our buddy! Also, back in the 80's Saddam nationalized his oil fields...which upset the US- so, it is important to read history because when you read about it we don't come out lilly white- far from it!
