Ignore my comment about jamming. I am pretty sure the USAF (or Navy for that matter) is using some sort of digital communications over the shortwave channel. I hear a steady tone at the beginning of each transmission, perhaps a handshake sequence. It's been non-stop comms for at least 15 minutes. Cleary something is going on, though it could be March Madness.
