Tell dad to go to the Tropicana Hotel, Island Tower (the one in the back). Take the elevator to the 21st floor. There is a lounge area just opposite the elevators, with a large window overlooking the terminal.

Security does not like you to hang out there if you are not a hotel guest, so be quick. You're on camera.
