Here is part of the original news release:

"10/25/02 - NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. (AFPN) -- An RQ-1 Predator unmanned aerial vehicle crashed into the side of a mountain in the Nevada Test and Training Range near Indian Springs, Nev., at approximately 8:30 a.m. Oct 25.

The Predator, from the 11th Reconnaissance Squadron, was flying a training mission when the incident occurred. There were no injuries and no property damage as a result of the incident."

But you have probably already read this. It says the mountain was IN the NTTR. Of course that could be misinformation but it seems strange that it would be off the range unless they totally "lost" control.....
