This is true, after some telephone calls to Hoover Dam, It would be interesting to find the law on this. dannywho!
is has been confirmed that they are using Wackenhut to do this "vehicle inspections" before vehicles reach the dam.
- Do they need to be deputised.
- Who ownes the roadway where the stops are performed.
- Is there any precident for this action.
- Because Hoover Dam is run by the
Bereau of Reclamation, a federal agency, does that
allow them to use private corporations as area 51
does for security. Perimiter security is one thing,
police type activity is another, what if they
brought out the National Guard or Army.
- Because the road, U.S. Highway 93 is a U.S. route
does this give the government more rights to this,
or could this be done anywhere.
