Off topic: Attack on aircraft carriers in Persian Gulf?

When I looked at the militairy buildup in the Gulf region I saw that the oldest, non-nuclear powered, aircraft carriers, the Kitty Hawk and the Constellation where deployed in the Persian Gulf.

Is it just by co-incidence that the oldest carriers are at front or is the US really afraid of an Iraqi attack on aircraft carriers in the Persian Gulf?

If Iraq has a nuclear bomb, they can hit the US right in its hart to attack an carrier with it.
