SU-37 TV is only 2D, not 3D

Straight up or down, about 35 degrees in either direction. The nozzles, I mean. It is reported, however, that each nozzle can be independently directed, i.e., one nozzle can be pointed up while the other down, or level, or any combination. That is certainly very impressive, but still not true 3D thrust vectoring. As for the SU-37 itself, it is quite a formidable potential adversary, I admit, but frankly I'll be more impressed if/when the Russians can actually field a squadron or two, rather than a couple of prototypes.
