You really want to view from the Tropica Island Tower. You can request a room to be facing the airport as high as possible, which I think is the 17th floor unless you want to get the deluxe suites.

Once you stay there, you will be on their mailing list. They send out a card for rates which are pretty cheap at times, but those rates are only for the Garden rooms, not the tower. However, tower rates are less on those days as well. For instance, the rate on Feb 23 is $29. Figure on the tower rate in the low $40's. Promotion Code is dhfm03.
