To awnser your first question: a nuclear weapon needs a very specific chain of events in order to produce the necessary reaction for a nuclear explosion. The idea of hitting it with a missile, laser, bullet or the ground and having it detonate is ludicrous. There has been an declassifed document that has PAGES of events where nuclear weapons just falling off of aircraft. The conventional weapon inside went off but not the nuclear.
Your second question seems like it would make sense but I would bet that the reentry speed of a MIRV is so fast that a AIM9 or AIM120 couldnt keep up. Intercepting it from the ground via missile or laser is much more realistic.
