That would be the multiplexer-demultiplexer... possibly secret, probably not top secret, but likely a sensitive item. Or maybe they would like to find the digital information stored by the optical "device" they were using to "study" "dust" over the Mediterranean region. wink, wink. For an Air Force colonel from a country in the Middle East to "study" "dust" in the atmosphere above southwest Asia is an interesting idea. wink, wink.
