It should be near the border at road block canyon, which I would assume is the signs. For a very rough estimate of free territory, you could draw a line from that waypoint to hawkeye hill, which is at, er, well, Joerg doesn't like to give that waypoint out since if you try to hike Hawkeye Hill the wrong way you could cross the border. If you draw a vector at 351 degrees true from the waypoint I gave you at road block canyon, it would aim towards Hawkeye Hill.
