I can only echo everyone's concerns.

There are a few interesting situations that will arise with the Columbia now gone. One will be trips to the ISS, as I am sure the shuttle will be grounded for a while. The other may be the reactivation of space plane technology, such as the X33 that Bush killed.

The link provided shows the vapour trail of the shuttle. I'm not sure if it changes in time, but at the time of the posting, the trail will be visible.
