off subject, but on this site, old test sites

I was reading about the Nevada Test Site, and was wondering if there is any way to warn future generations about the hazards underground? I know the story will be told for at least 8 or more generations possibly, but thousands of years later? Your right that the little plaque they stuck on the pipe is not enough of a warning, and who knows if it will even be there very long. A thousand years from now, climates could change, making Nevada a lush place for farmland, and the whole world may one day be eating and drinking products containing tons of radiation. Then they want to bury more of it out there, cause they think it is just a wasteland anyway. They obviously have never sat on a mountain cliff in Nevada and watched the rocks changing colors as the sun set in the sky, blowing wind the only sound for miles and miles, the wild donkeys, owls....
