But considering the threat level over Baghdad, that would eliminate many of the options. Would a 707 Jstars really be a good choice? Which of those aircraft are regularly used for recon? Does the Air Force have any confirmed SR-71s still in inventory? And wouldn't the U2 be vulnerable to current SAMS given its performance envelope?
