Surely this has got to be rubbish. The base at Groom Lake wouldn't be known in official or even unofficial circles as 'Area 51', let alone be written as such on a workers ID badge!!! Isn't 'Area 51' the the old NTS designation for the 'box' of land surrounding Groom Lake that is part of R-4808N? IF they were to use the real name of the base on an ID badge, surely it would say 'Det 3' or something like that!?!?!?! More likely, they would have coded badges with bar codes or a magnetic strip for access to Groom, and these would probably be changed periodically. Magoo
