This may help, it's a front view. http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/facility/diego-garcia-imagery-2.htm You can see from the front that there's very little wing clearance as was suggested earlier. Also, the hanger appears to be inflatable, and there's no doors as such. It may be the case that the "front" is pointing the same way the '52's on that side of the flight line are arranged, and the majority of the equipment is behind the hanger. That's a guess, based on "Military Logic". The equipment parked around the hangers suggest ther's aircraft already inside, and I seem to recall somthine I read somewhere that they're already deployed there. R*
Also, the other pics show that those are B-52's parked next to the shelters. Thaey certainly look like BUFF's to me...
