Just been reading the European Edition of Combat Aircraft Vol.4, No.4. The article on the B-2 called "The Beauty of the Beast". And came across the following which may be of interest: "Contrail-suppression liquid tanks have now been removed from the aft section of the bomber, eliminating the hazard of corrosive chemicals, and the space once used to house those tanks may be transformed into a bay for miniaturized weapons or another fuel tank." I'm sure someone posted up on here a few months back saying they were visiting the Rachael area and saw a B-2 high up with contrails, and wondered why. Well I guess thats why. Any thoughts/comments anyone?
