I've noticed a few times at Edwards (where the test will take place) that they fly planes from the base to the X33 site and then back again, often in orbits. I've seen this done with pretty ordinary planes. The only reason anyone would notice these tests is that they have a chase plane also.

However, this test, since it is faster than sound, would have to occur in special zone.

Fortunately, this is along the high 58 path more or less, which you can see in figure 6-5.
